Born on July 17, 1982, in the village of Punjab's Tarn Taran, Gurbaksh Singh Chahal is an entrepreneur and the founder of several internet advertising companies.
At the age of 4 years, Gurbaksh's parents moved Gurbaksh and his two siblings to San Jose, California, for a better life. Chahal faced a lot of bullying and racism during his schooling.

Gurbaksh Chahal founded his first advertising network at the age of 16. Later, he became a millionaire after he sold it to ValueClick at about $40 million. In 2004, he co-founded BlueLithium which became the 5th largest ad network in the United States after which it was sold to Yahoo in a $300 million deal.
He has since founded other companies that include RadiumOne and Gravity4. Currently, he is the CEO of VendorCloud and RedLotus.
