Watch National Award Winning Punjabi movie Chann Pardesi's re-mastered version in theatres

Chann Pardesi 2022: Giving a tribute to the legendary actors of the Punjabi industry, the father-son duo, Dr Chaanan Singh Sidhu and filmmaker Simran Sidhu, have once again brought back the re-mastered version of the National Award Winning Punjabi film Chann Pardesi to the theatres.

The film was originally released in 1980 and now after more than four decades, Chann Pardesi will be playing in cinemas across the globe.

The re-mastered version of 'Chann Pardesi' will be released in HD Digital and 5.1 Surround Sound which will give the iconic film a contemporary feel artistically.

Modern-day technology will indeed add stars to the National Award Winning film 'Chann Pardesi'. The film's star cast includes Raj Babbar, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Rama Vij, Mehar Mittal, Sushma Seth, Rajni Sharma, and Sunita Dhir.

London-based businessman Dr. Chanan Singh Sidhu and his son Simran Sidhu decided to pay tribute to the film by re-releasing it with some modern technology. Although Sidhus wanted to release the film on the 40th anniversary of the film in 2020, it got delayed due to the situation arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Notably, the veteran director Manmohan Singh worked on the re-mastering of Chann Pardesi.

Chann Pardesi 2022 is up against Harbhajan Mann's PR and Dev Kharoud's 'Dakuaan Da Munda 2' at the box office.
