Vivek Agnihotri lashes out at Wikipedia for terming 'The Kashmir Files' as 'fictional', 'inaccurate'

The Kashmir Files Wikipedia Description: Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri took the Internet on fire with his recently released 'The Kashmir Files'. The film was based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandit in the Kashmir valley during the 1990s.

'The Kashmir Files' became the topic of debate across the country and now the director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri slammed the Wikipedia for editing the description of his film.

Reportedly, Wikipedia described the film as 'fictional', 'inaccurate', and 'associated with conspiracy theories'.

Sharing a screenshot, Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, "Dear @Wikipedia, You forgot to add ‘Islamophobia propaganda Sanghi bigot etc’. You are failing your Secular credentials. Hurry, edit more."

Meanwhile, several people replied to Vivek's tweet. One of the Twitter users wrote: "As the director of the film, you are legally allowed to take control of the page. I’m wondering why you haven’t done that yet?". Another one wrote: "Sir if this is correct information then you should take the control of the page."

Another user tweeted "I tried editing it back to facts… but they didn’t let me…"

Likewise, another one tweeted, "After Twitter, @Wikipedia also needs a cleaning up act.. anyone .. ?"

'The Kashmir Files' featured Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Bhasha Sumbli in pivotal roles. The film bagged a lot of appreciation from the people and minted more than Rs 300 crore at the box office.

After the success of 'The Kashmir Files', Vivek also announced his next film titled 'The Delhi Files'.
