UT 69 trailer: Raj Kundra released the trailer for his upcoming film, 'UT 69.' The movie delves into the events that led to his imprisonment on charges related to the production of adult content. For those not familiar with the background, Raj Kundra was arrested by the Mumbai Police in 2021 for his alleged involvement in the creation and distribution of explicit content.
In one of the scenes from the trailer, Raj can be heard in a voiceover saying, "I had seen this jail on TV, but I never thought I would end up here as an undertrial."
During the trailer launch event for 'UT 69,' Raj shared an interesting incident about how his wife, Shilpa Shetty reacted when he first told her about his plan to make a film about his life.
He humorously recounted, "She was a few feet away from me when I decided to tell her that I am making a film. I didn't want to get too close to her (laughs). I told her that I have a script and was waiting for her response. When I turned away from her, a flying slipper came at my face. I think she initially found the idea a bit risky. Maybe she thought the film might not even get made."
Raj continued, "So, I asked Shahnawaz (Ali, the director) to go and explain it to her. He gave her a brief overview of the story, emphasizing that it wasn't about challenging the system in any way. She thought about it and realized that it was, in fact, a very human story."
'UT 69' is all set to hit the big screen on November 3, 2023. This film promises to provide viewers with a unique insight into Raj Kundra's life journey, especially the challenging period he experienced in jail.
