Israel-Palestine War Swara Bhasker's Heartfelt Concern: Worries for Her Daughter Amidst Gaza Conflict
Swara Bhasker, who recently embraced motherhood with the arrival of her baby girl, took to social media to express her deep concern regarding the tragic incidents involving children in Gaza hospitals. Since the Israel-Palestine conflict began, Bhasker has been actively sharing her opinions on social media.
Accompanied by a photo of herself with her daughter, Raabiya, the actress penned a heartfelt note in which she shared her thoughts as a new mom. She wrote, "Every new mom knows that there's nothing quite like the hours spent gazing at their newborn with a profound sense of fulfillment, peace, and unparalleled joy. I'm no exception. However, like countless mothers across the globe, the pure bliss we experience when we look at our babies is now overshadowed by persistent and haunting thoughts that are impossible to ignore."
Swara Bhasker, in her message, voiced her worry for her daughter, saying, "I find myself often looking at the serene, sleeping face of my baby girl, contemplating how I would protect her if she were born in #Gaza. I pray that she never has to endure such circumstances. This leads me to question the blessings my daughter was born with, and the curse that befalls the children in Gaza, who face the horrors of being killed every day beneath an imprisoned sky."
She continued, "The sheer malevolence and moral bankruptcy that surrounds us are beyond comprehension. The fact that children in hospitals, relief shelters, and places of worship are subjected to bombings with impunity, under the tacit approval of major world powers, underscores the dark and unjust times in which we find ourselves."
In a poignant plea, she concluded her message by saying, "I offer my prayers to any listening deity, imploring protection for the children of Gaza from further suffering and death, for it appears that the world may not shield them."
Meanwhile, the veteran actress Zeenat Aman also spoke about the Israel-Palestine conflict. Addressing the issue of innocent children being harmed, she remarked, "In particular, the bloodshed of innocent children who have been killed and injured in these ongoing and devastating attacks should weigh heavily on our collective conscience."
