Ranveer Singh Takes Legal Action Against His Deepfake AI; Files FIR
Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has recently fallen prey to a deepfake video circulating on social media. In response, Singh has taken a significant step by filing a complaint with the police.
The deepfake video, generated by artificial intelligence (AI), portrays Singh expressing political opinions he never uttered. In an official statement, Singh's spokesperson stated, "Yes, we have filed the police complaint and an FIR has been lodged against the handle that was promoting the AI-generated deepfake video of Mr. Ranveer Singh."
