Alia's saree was particularly special, featuring a Ramayan-themed border adorned with embroidered images of Lord Ram, Lord Hanuman, and the Ram Setu. The exquisite details on the border quickly became a hit on the internet, drawing attention to the craftsmanship involved.

Artistry in Detail

The border of the saree showcased various scenes from the Ramayan, such as the breaking of the Shiva Dhanush, King Dasharatha's promise, the golden deer, the kidnapping, the Ram Setu, Lord Hanuman presenting the ring to Ma Sita, and the Rama Pattabishek. These scenes were meticulously hand-painted in a traditional "Pattachitra" style, taking 100 hours to complete. The result was a visual masterpiece that added a unique touch to the momentous occasion of the Ram Mandir's inauguration in Ayodhya.

Alia's Elegant Ensemble

Alia complemented her saree with a shawl for warmth and a purse made from the same material as the saree, showcasing her attention to detail. Accompanied by actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor, who wore a white kurta-pajama with a cream shawl, the couple added a touch of grace to the ceremony.
