Is Salman Khan under Lawrence Bishnoi's RADAR again? Four Arrested in Plot to Attack Actor's Car in Panvel
The Navi Mumbai Police have arrested four members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who were planning to attack superstar Salman Khan's car in Panvel. The gang was reportedly planning to obtain weapons from a Pakistani arms supplier for the attack.
A first information report (FIR) has been filed against more than 17 people, including key figures like Lawrence Bishnoi, Anmol Bishnoi, Sampat Nehra, and Goldy Brar. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
Earlier, after a shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence in Bandra, police arrested four suspects: Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal in Gujarat, and Anuj Thapan along with another person in Punjab on April 26. Unfortunately, Anuj Thapan died in police custody. In total, six arrests have been made so far in connection with the Bandra case.
The arrests in Panvel were made after Senior Inspector Nitin Thakre received a tip-off about the gang's presence in the area. Investigations revealed that a man named Kashyap was in contact with a Pakistan-based individual called Dogar to acquire AK-47s for the attack. The attackers had plans to go underground and regroup in Kanyakumari before fleeing to Sri Lanka.
The authorities are currently interrogating the four suspects to see if they are linked to the Bandra shooting. The Mumbai Crime Branch has already arrested six people related to the Bandra case.
