Devoleena Bhattacharjee Criticizes Bigg Boss OTT 3 for Promoting Armaan Malik's Polygamy
Bigg Boss OTT 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, has quickly become a hotbed of controversy. Among the most talked-about entrants is YouTuber Armaan Malik, who joined the show with his two wives, Payal and Kritika. Their appearance has sparked outrage on social media, with fans accusing the show of promoting polygamy.
TV actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been vocal about her disapproval, strongly condemning the trio's participation without directly naming them. She expressed her disgust, saying, "I feel disgusted just hearing about it. Gross. I mean, in just 6/7 days love happened, marriage happened, and then the same thing with the wife's best friend. This is beyond my imagination." Devoleena emphasized the real-life consequences of such behavior and urged viewers not to take it lightly, questioning, "Do you think this is entertainment? This is not entertainment, it's filth."

Devoleena's comments were in reaction to a video of Armaan Malik and his wives on the show, which was shared on social media with the caption, “Shameless trio who doesn't even care about their kids and happily encourage polygamy are now in Bigg Boss OTT 3…it's pathetic to see how senseless the two ladies are, the guy is anyways shameless.”
She further criticized the show's producers, questioning their decision to include such contestants and the message it sends to viewers, particularly the younger generation. "What do you want to teach the new generation? That they can have 2-3-4 marriages? Everyone can live happily together? Go and ask those who suffer from such incidents every day, living their lives in misery.”
Many fans supported Devoleena's remarks, agreeing with her take on the show's controversial contestants. TV celebrity Karan Kundrra also weighed in, criticizing Armaan Malik and his wives.
Armaan Malik and his wives gained notoriety when both women were pregnant simultaneously. Their unconventional family dynamics have been a focal point of public scrutiny and debate. Malik, previously a bank cashier, married Payal Malik, an account executive, in 2011. They had a son, Chirayu Malik, who often features in Armaan's videos. In 2018, Armaan married Kritika, Payal's friend, adding another layer of controversy to their story.
