Vicky Kaushal, a young Punjabi actor, is looking forward to the release of his upcoming film 'Sardar Udham.' On Instagram, the actor recently shared a photo of himself in jail, dressed as freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. Vicky has also shared the story of a courageous man who fought for India's independence.

Vicky Kaushal seems rugged in the photo, with a scar on his eyebrow. Guneet Monga, Dharmesh Yelande, Amol Parashar, and Mukesh Chabbra, among others, have expressed their admiration for the look.

Sardar Udham is the tale of Sardar Udham Singh, a courageous and patriotic man who fought selflessly and bravely against the British enslavement of India. The film focuses on Sardar Udham's unwavering mission to avenge the deaths of his beloved fellows who were brutally murdered in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh Massacre.

The film's trailer was only released last week which garnered much appreciation and positive feedback from the viewers. Directed by Shujit Sarkar and the movie is being produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. The film will be available on the OTT platform Amazon Prime on October 16.
