Sushmita is set to play Gauri Shinde, the transgender activist, in her upcoming film 'Taali', a role she has been passionate about from the start according to a source who revealed that Sushmita was the perfect fit for the character. Despite suffering from Addison's Disease and undergoing angioplasty due to a blocked artery, Sushmita continues to inspire and motivate, recently sharing a celebratory post on Instagram marking one month since her surgery.
