In his letter, Singh stated, "Through social media and various information channels, it has come to light that Elvish Yadav took photographs inside the Kashi Vishwanath temple post-visit. This act is alarming for both the temple administration and the Varanasi district administration, given the strict prohibition on mobile phones and cameras within the temple grounds."

Temple Visit Details

According to Singh’s account, Yadav visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple, where he partook in the customary rituals performed by the priest, Shrikant. Following the religious ceremonies and offering his prayers, Yadav is alleged to have taken photographs, thereby contravening the temple's established rules.

In response to these accusations, Joint Police Commissioner K. Ajeel Rasan confirmed that a complaint was indeed filed earlier in the day. He assured that an investigation has been initiated, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings.
