Ameet Naik, the lawyer representing the case, stated that the Delhi High Court's decision was significant as it addressed issues related to defamation, privacy, intermediary rules, and personality rights. He also commented that the entities responsible for spreading false news about the Bachchan family were making a profit by doing so, and the Delhi HC recognized the personality rights that were being invoked in this case.
The Court of Justice C Harishankar also noted that every child, regardless of whether they come from a celebrity family or not, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. The circulation of misleading information about a child's physical or mental health is entirely unacceptable under the law. The lawsuit claimed that it was filed due to the violation of the plaintiffs' right to privacy, particularly Aaradhya Bachchan's, who is only 11 years old and could suffer significant harm to her mental and physical well-being if such videos and content are accessible to the public..

According to the lawsuit, Aaradhya Bachchan, who is in good health and has not been hospitalized, was present with her mother at public events at the time the fake news videos were created or uploaded. Aaradhya, the daughter of Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan, filed a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court seeking an injunction against several YouTube channels and uploaders, preventing them from sharing false news about her death or critical illness.
Abhishek Bachchan has filed the suit on behalf of his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and himself, invoking three torts: breach of privacy, defamation, and infringement of personality rights. Dayan Krishnan, Ameet Naik, and Pravin Anand appeared for them in the Delhi High Court. The court has granted an order of injunction against the infringers and uploaders, directing them to remove the infringing videos and any such content that violates privacy or spreads false news about Aaradhya Bachchan.
