Kannada actor Suraj Kumar's leg amputated after he meets with bike accident

Suraj Kumar accident news: Kannada actor Suraj Kumar, who was on the brink of making his much-anticipated acting debut, suffered a devastating setback as he lost one of his legs in a horrific bike accident on June 24. The unfortunate incident occurred while he was riding his motorcycle along the Mysuru-Gundluper highway near Bengaluru. Known by his stage name Dhruwan, Suraj was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where doctors were forced to amputate his right leg below the knee in order to save his life.

It was reported that Suraj lost control of his bike while attempting to overtake a tractor, causing a collision with a tipper lorry at around 4 pm on Saturday. As a result of the severity of his injuries, doctors had to amputate his right leg below the knee in order to save his life.

Suraj Kumar, the nephew of Dr. Rajkumar's wife, Paravathamma, and the son of film producer S. A. Srinivas had been eagerly awaiting his entry into the film industry. His talent had already gained attention, with high expectations surrounding his acting debut in the film "Bhagawan Shri Krishna Paramathma," directed by Anup Anthony. The movie was launched by renowned Kannada star Darshan but was later shelved due to undisclosed reasons.

The bike accident occurred while Suraj was en route to Ooty from Mysuru. While attempting to overtake a tractor, he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a tipper lorry at 4 pm on that fateful Saturday. The impact of the crash was severe, resulting in the necessity of amputating his leg below the knee to ensure his survival.
