'The Kashmir Files' in Oscars 2023: 'The Kashmir Files', a film that has received a lot of praise, has been shortlisted for the 'Oscars' in 2023, which director Vivek Agnihotri announced on Twitter.

SS Rajamouli's RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files, and Rishab Shetty's Kantara are among the Indian movies that have been included in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' list of 301 feature films that are eligible for Oscars.

While confirming the same, director Vivek Agnihotri took to his social media accounts and said, that it is one of the five films to be shortlisted in the Academy Awards.
For the unversed, 'The Kashmir Files' was released in March 2022 and received huge appreciation. The film was written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and received several awards in various prestigious ceremonies.

The migration drama included a distinguished ensemble namely Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, and Chinmay Mandlekar.
On March 12, 2023, the Dolly Theatre in Los Angeles will host the 95th Academy Awards ceremony. Jimmy Kimmel, a television host, will preside over this year's Oscars.
