'The Crown' season 5: Release date remains unchanged; producers resume shoot days after Queen Elizabeth II's death
'The Crown' season 5 and 6 release date and OTT platform: The release date of 'The Crown' season 5 remained unchanged as the makers have resumed the shooting after Queen Elizabeth II's death.
The creator Peter Morgan had earlier informed that the filming would cease "out of respect" for Queen Elizabeth II following her death on Thursday.

However, the team is now back for the shooting. In the meanwhile, New York Post reported that Elizabeth Debicki, portraying the role of Princess Diana in the show, has returned to the sets in Barcelona.
The New York Post also added that Debicki was shooting the late princess's trip to the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo in an order to support the Landmine Survivors Network, which was one of her last appearances in public.

Elizabeth Debicki was also spotted in Princess Di's attire while she was on her trip to Bosnia as she donned a light pink button-up shirt and black pants. Besides, she also carried a bouquet of flowers.
After Queen Elizabeth II's death, the show has been watched four times last weekend. Meanwhile, the fans wondered if the release date of 'The Crown' season 5 was changed but it's not and, as scheduled, it will be released in November on the OTT platform Netflix.

However, it is not known if the one-day hiatus would affect the release date of season 6 of 'The Crown' series. Season 6 is now being filmed and is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
