'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma' director Malav Rajda quits show
Taarak Mehta Ka Oolah Chashma news: Television's most popular show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is telecasted on Sab TV. After being a part of the family for 14 years director Malav Rajda decided to quit the show and bid farewell to the show on December 15.

According to the sources, the reason for quitting the show was due to creative differences they had. The director clarified his decision of leaving the show which was his call and nobody forced him to decide to do so. It is said that he wanted to get out of his comfort zone and grow creatively so he took this decision.
Further, the team added that if one decides to do good work then will always be creative differences within the team but it's always for the betterment of the show. He also thanked the producer Asit Kumar Modi for always guiding his path. The director also called his journey on the show a beautiful one.
In addition to this, he mentioned that he not only earned money and fame from the show but also found his better half on the show. Director Malav is married to 'Tarrak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' Priya Ahuja who is popularly known as 'Rita Reporter' in the show.
For the unversed, the 2008 show is one of the longest-running shows in the history of Indian television. However, it has seen several changes in the cast due to actors quitting the show. Actors like Raj Anandkat, Shailesh Lodha, Disha Vakani, Neha Mehta and Gurucharan Singh are some of them. Although the fans are waiting for Daya aka Disha Vakani. to return to the show in the role of Dayaben.
