Sourav Ganguly gave a green flag for his biopic to be made; wants Ranbir Kapoor to play the role!

Sourav Ganguly has finally given a green flag to his biopic to be made in Hindi.  The biopic of the former Indian skipper will be a big-budget Bollywood production. The biopic is being made under a huge banner-production house.

"Yes, I have agreed to the biopic. It will be in Hindi but it is not possible to say the name of the director now. It will take a few more days for arranging everything" said the BCCI president to a national daily.

The script is still being written, according to the sources. Sourav Ganguly has interacted with the production house several times. As per the rumors

Ranbir Kapoor is the perfect choice to fit in the role of Dada, and this casting is almost finalized.

Ranbir has been named by Ganguly, but there are two more actors on the list. The biopic will follow Sourav Ganguly from his childhood till his election as president of the BCCI. The release date for the film has yet to be announced.

Ganguly's biopic has previously been reported in several media outlets. Ganguly, on the other hand, has consistently denied such allegations. But this time, Ganguly revealed that his biopic is still in the works. After the pre-production work is completed, the film will begin shooting.
