Reportedly, Khanda is up for inclusion in Unicode 15.0, scheduled for release in 2022, and was added to draft Emoji 15.0 in 2022.
This is the eighth-year for emojipedia to provide sample emoji designs ahead of their official arrival on emoji keyboards.

As per the report, the draft list for Emoji 15.0 has only 31 recommended emojis. On the other hand, 2021's Emoji 14.0 had 112 recommendations, while 2020 Emoji 13.0 and Emoji 13.1 had 117 and 217, respectively.
Notably, 15.0 is recommending the smallest number of new emojis that Unicode has ever recommended at one time.

Besides, it is for the first time that there are no new people emojis in the new set of recommendations.
Earlier, people emojis had constituted a majority of the last three batches of the recommendations. 2019's Emoji 12.1 was all about people's emojis.
Likewise, 2020's Emoji 13.1 added 212 different variations of existing people's emojis.
