SIIMA 2022: From Kamal Hassan to Ranveer Singh, celebs take home prestigious awards

SIMA Awards 2022 Winners: The 10th South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) Awards, which honoured Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films, were held on September 10 and 11. Brinda Prasad Adusumilli and Vishnu Induri arranged the extravagant occasion, which took place over two days in Bengaluru.

Prominent actors from Telugu and Kannada cinema, including Allu Arjun, Yash, Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Arjun Bajwa, and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan besides Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh were present during the occasion of SIIMA 2022.

In addition to these, several well-known ladies from Sandalwood and Tollywood, including Shalini Pandey, Chaithra J Achar, Karuunaa Bhushan, Ritika Singh, Pooja Hegde, Athulyaa Ravi, and Amulya Gowda, graced the red carpet of the ceremony.

SIMA Awards 2022 Winners

While 'Pushpa The Rise's Arya Sukku and Allu Arjun won Best Director and Best Actor awards, respectively, Pooja Hegde won Best Actress for the Akhil Akkineni-led film 'Most Eligible Bachelor'.

After 'Vikram's enormous success, Kamal Haasan was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, received the Most Popular Hindi Actor in South India title. The actor made a brief appearance on the red carpet and expressed gratitude to the SIIMA organisers for awarding him with the award.
