Although the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala is no more his fans have kept him alive in their hearts with his songs. In the meanwhile, Sidhu Moose Wala's new song 'Jaandi Vaar' with Afsana Khan and Salim Merchant is going to be released on September 2, as announced by Salim on Wednesday.
Taking to Instagram, Salim Merchant shared a video in which he said a lot of people used to ask him about the release date of his song that he did with Sidhu Moose Wala.

In the video, he said, "Finally, the time is here. We recorded this song in 2021 in Chandigarh. I met Afsana Khan last year who made me meet Sidhu Moose Wala in Chandigarh. I saw the passion of Sidhu for his art, his songs, his people, and his community."

"I was very happy to listen to his thoughts and within no time we decided to work together. We recorded the song in my friend Sachin Ahuja's studio in Chandigarh," he said.

Adding, he said that "This is a beautiful, emotional, and heart-touching song. Sidhu sang this song with heart and Afsana added stars to it. Today, Sidhu is not with us but his voice and his thoughts are here in this song thus, the song is a tribute to him."
