Shahid Kapoor-Mrunal Thakur are lovestruck in the song 'Maiyya Mainu' from 'Jersey'

Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, will hit theatres on October 31. Shahid's followers are eagerly waiting for his flick as it if for the very first time Shahid will be seen in the sports drama.

Makers of the movie are leaving no stone unturned to hype the excitement for the film ahead of its release. After the release of the trailer, the makers released the first song 'Mehram' which was massively loved by everyone, and now, they have released the second song which is a romantic track titled 'Maiyya Mainu'.

Jersey, tells the story of a cricketer who returns to the game in his 30s by joining the Indian cricket team. This is the Telugu film's Hindi remake. It is based on a Ranji cricketer's true story. This cricketer aspires to be a member of the Indian cricket team, but he must overcome numerous obstacles.

After the box office success of Kabir Singh, it remains to be seen whether Shahid Kapoor's film will be able to make a splash.
