Ranveer Singh to appear before Mumbai Police in connection to photoshoot row
Ranveer Singh to appear before Police: In the ongoing controversy over his most recent photoshoot for a foreign publication, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been issued a notice by the Mumbai Police.
The police reportedly went to the actor's house to deliver the notice, however, the actor wasn't there. He will supposedly be required to appear before the police on August 22 to submit a statement.
The team will now visit his home again on August 16 and issue the summons for August 22, as it was informed to the police that he would return on that date.
According to an FIR, the actor was accused of posting images from his private library for Paper magazine on his Instagram account. The operation was carried out as a result of a police complaint lodged by the leader of an NGO with a local presence.
