Ranveer Singh birthday: Ranveer Singh managed to carve a niche in the Bollywood industry with his outstanding performance in his every film. The actor turns a year older today, and to celebrate the special day, here are some of his best iconic films and characters that won hearts of the masses.

He was born on July 6, 1985, and is one of most admiring actors. Not only this, but he is a true example that if you have skill, nothing can stop you from excelling in any field that has been accused of being nepotistic. Lets revisit his journey on his 37th birthday:

Band Baaja Baarat

Band Baaja Baraat was Ranveer Singh's debut film which was released in 2010. It was revealed that Ranveer in his very first audition was selected by the YRF team. Bittu Sharma's character was much appreciated by everyone and Ranveer Singh lead to a beautiful journey from there on in the Bollywood industry.

Bajirao Mastani

After several hits in Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali roped Ranveer Singh for his historical drama Ram-Leela which was again a massive blockbuster. Following this, Ranveer Singh joined hands with Bhansali Productions to deliver another massive hit with 'Bajirao Mastani' released in 2015.

Padmaavat

In 2018, another period drama by Sanjay Leela Bhansali 'Padmaavat' was released which showcased Ranveer Singh as an antagonist. Gully Boy

Ranveer Singh never ceased himself from experimenting different things. In Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' which was released in 2019, Ranveer played the role of aspiring rapper from Mumbai streets. Not only did her performed as a rapper but also did rap on his own in the film.

83 the film

Ranveer Singh was well acclaimed as he portrayed the role of Indian former cricketer Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan's directorial '83'. The sports drama was based on the 1983 World Cup victory by India, which helped to restore India on the international arena of cricket, is the central theme of the movie.
