Ranbir Kapoor Nails The Sanjay Dutt Look in Biopic 'Sanju'

After much speculation, the first look and teaser of Rajkummar Hirani's Dutt biopic "Sanju" has just released. This one and a half minute teaser is speaking a lot about the movie. The reel life Khalnayak has been through a series of ups and downs in his life and his biopic chronicles his journey so far. The teaser clearly sums up actor's life in one line " “Apna life full saap-seedi ka board hai” (My life is like the snakes and ladders board game), says Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju as he steps out of prison. “Kabhi up to kabhi down (sometimes up and sometimes down).”

Ranbir Kapoor has nailed the screen in Sanjay Dutt's looks. He has undergone the different looks as he depicts the actor over the years. According to the film, at 22, Dutt’s lungs had nearly given up because of his addiction to drugs, but he rebelled against fate to build a muscular body for his movie roles. Since then, the ride has been dizzying," he says in the trailer.

Further, he says, “I’ve roamed in chartered planes as well as begged on streets for a bus ticket,” says Dutt. “I’ve stayed in the hotels of New York from whose windows the entire city could be seen. But I’ve also stayed in a jail where there was not even one window.”

The movie "Sanju" is produced by Vinod Chopra Films, Rajkumar Hirani Films, and Fox Star Studios. The movie is scheduled to release on 29 June.  The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal in key roles and features appearances by Karishma Tanna, Jim Sarbh, and Vicky Kaushal.
