Rana Ranbir's Directorial Debut 'Asees' Is All About Stubbornness

Rana Ranbir has given us so many characters and memories to cherish. His some of the roles like "Shampi" for "Jatt & Juliet" and "Jatt & Juliet 2" is something that is unforgettable. This man has the power to take the spotlight on him when he is on screen with his awesome comic timing and screen presence. Once again he took all the shutterbugs towards himself when he announced his movie "Asees".

"Asees" is very close to Ranbir's heart for many obvious reasons. This would be Rana Ranbir's directorial debut in Punjabi Film Industry. along with this Rana is playing a strong character in the movie. This movie would bring out the significance of the mother-son love on screen. And third reason to be cherished is that Rana Ranbir has himself penned the story of the movie.

Rana Ranbir has been sharing some pictures of the film on his social sites, through which one thing is quite clear. Besides all his characters that have made us laugh and cry, this is something very different in "Asees" what Rana is doing for us. Although he has not revealed his character's speculations but his internet posts reveal man things and have brought a chaos amongst audiences to see the movie.

Rana Ranbir has shared the latest picture from the movie that Rana has shared with us. This is quite a scary picture in which Rana's left eye is badly wounded. And along with the picture, the caption speaks a lot about the movie.

"ਨਾ ਸੱਚ ਨਾ ਝੂਠ, ਨਾ ਪੁੰਨ ਨਾ ਪਾਪ, ਸਭ ਜ਼ਿਦ ਦੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੇ।  #ਆਸੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ"

which means, "Na sach na jhoot, na pun na paap, sab jid de masle ne Asees vich"

(Neither truth nor lie, neither virtue nor sin, it is all about stubbornness in Asees.)

He is accompanied by Sardar Sohi and Rupinder Rupi. Rupinder Rupi will be playing his mother in the movie for which once Rana has said that he has not even written the character that nicely as Rupinder Rupi has portrayed it. Then we have Kuljinder Sidhu, Neha Pawar and many other artists in the pivotal roles. The movie is produced by Lovepreet Lucky Sandhu, Baldev Singh Batha and Rana Ranbir. The movie will be hitting theatres on 22 June 2018.
