Recently in New Delhi, 67^th National Film Festival was held where all the awards were announced for the films released in the year 2019. It was a matter of pride for all the Punjabis as B Praak won the National award for the best playback singing for the track ‘Teri Mitti’.

Another proud moment for the Omjee Group and Vehli Janta Films as their produced film ‘Rabb Da Radio’ has received the best Punjabi Film Award. Tarsem Jassar and Simi Chahal played the lead roles in the film while the project was directed by Sharan Art.

Omjee Group has won the best film award consecutively for the second year as last year ‘Harjeeta’ was awarded in the same category. On this big success, Vehli Janta films gave a statement saying “We are known for the family content-based films & songs. As all songs of Tarsem Jassar are loved by all family members. We continued this routine in films too that a person with his/her whole family can enjoy the movie”.
