Queen Elizabeth II death reason news: In a shocking piece of news, Queen Elizabeth II, who was the longest-serving monarch of the UK, passed away at the age of 96 on Thursday.
Confirming the news of Queen Elizabeth II's death, the Royal Family issued a statement that reads, "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."

Earlier, the palace had stated that Queen Elizabeth II was under the supervision of doctors at Balmoral as the health workers expressed their concern over her health.
Born on April 21, 1926, at 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair, London, the Queen was the first child of The Duke and Duchess of York - who later became King George VI - and Queen Elizabeth.

Earlier, Buckingham Palace had reported that doctors were concerned about the Queen's health. The palace had also recommended that she be remain under medical supervision.

As of now, there has been no reason found for Queen Elizabeth II's death. The Royal Family stated that "The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon."
