'Pushpa' music composer Devi Sri Prasad to hoist Indian National Flag at New York Times Square
Indian National Flag on Times Square: On the eve of India's 75th Independence Day, Devi Sri Prasad, who most recently made headlines for his score for 'Pushpa: The Rise', will hoist the Tricolor at Times Square in New York.
Devi Sri Prasad is one of the top music composers in the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries. The music director who has produced multiple chart-topping songs took to social media and announced that he will be hoisting the tricolor at New York's Times square.
"I am really honoured to be invited as the Guest of Honour for the ceremonial illumination of the Empire State Building in New York and the hoisting of the Indian flag on Times Square on the eve of the 75th Independence Day of India," he added.

The Federation of Indian Associations is responsible for organising the event (FIA).
It's interesting to note that, on Independence Day, megastar Kamal Haasan will also be in the country. He will also hoist the national flag at the event that would be organised by the Association of Indo-Americans in the United States. Besides, the actor will also receive recognition for his 63 years of service to the Indian cinema business.
