In reality, Sonu Sood recently stated at a press conference that his sister Malvika and his family will launch the party, as well as the election plan, in the coming days. Sonu Sood will announce her political party in the coming ten days. Malvika, his younger sister, has already declared for the Punjab Assembly elections.

Sonu Sood stated during his press conference that he has been and would continue to work for Moga (Sonu Sood's birthplace). Sonu hasn't said if he’ll start his own political party or support his sister's candidacy.

Discussions regarding actor Sonu Sood embarking on a political career have been getting momentum for quite some time now. Sonu Sood's comments today have nearly confirmed that he is ready to enter the political summer. Malvika Sood, Sonu Sood's sister, has already been declared for the Punjab Assembly elections.
