'Sita Ramam' real story: Mrunal Thakur's character 'Noor Jahan' inspired from Princess Nilufer Hanimsultan?

'Sita Ramam' real story:  On November 18, 2022, Disney Plus Hotstar began streaming the Hindi remake of the popular Telugu film Sita Ramam. Because of its plot and the star-studded cast's acting, Sita Ramam has been a box office triumph and won fans' hearts as well. The romance drama has effectively tugged at the heartstrings of viewers all around the world because to the chemistry between Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur. Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapadi, is billed as a historical love drama movie.

A major character in the film is also played by actress Rashmika Mandanna, who gives a solid performance. Lieutenant Ram was portrayed by Dulquer Salmaan, and Sita Mahalakshmi—who in the film is actually called "Princess Noor Jahan"—was portrayed by Mrunal Thakur. The subject of whether Sita Ramam is a true story or whether Sita Ramam is a real person is now under debate.

Also, it's been said that in 2007, director Hanu Raghavpudi became aware of the tale while reading a book. An unsealed letter was inside the book. Her letter to her kid was written by a mother. Hanu was aware that their son stayed in a dormitory and that their family originated in Vijayawada. His mother inquired about his well-being and then wrote back from home in that letter. He then considered if the letter's body should include some necessary sequences of actions. The Army background was added to the narrative once the creator had an idea. This concept was proposed by Rajkumar Kandamudi.

Princess Niloufer Khanum Sultan Farhat Begum Sahiba was born as an Ottoman Turkish woman named Nilüfer Hanmsultan. According to several fans, Princess Nilofer may have served as Noor Jahan's inspiration.
