Ranbir Kapoor clarifies his statement about working in Pakistani films; here's what actor says

Ranbir Kapoor clarifies his statement about working in Pakistani films; here's what actor says

 Ranbir Kapoor news: Ranbir Kapoor who is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’. Recently, the actor was seen clarifying his statement when he said that he would love to work in a Pakistani film where he was criticized by the audience.

Ranbir Kapoor's statement where regarding working in Pakistani films 

The actor was at a promotional event for his upcoming film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ where he was asked about the statement which he made earlier. Further, Ranbir had earlier attended the Red Sea International Film Festival.

The actor was also a part of the panel where he was asked by a Pakistani filmmaker whether he would want to work in a production if it is located elsewhere. After which the actor replied saying of course. Then, he said there are no boundaries for artists especially for actors so he would love to work. This statement took the internet by storm and he was backlashed by the audience. 

Furthermore, Ranbir was seen clarifying his earlier statement saying that his statement was misconstructed. However, Ranbir recalled the statement where he was asked by a lot of Pakistani directors who asked him the same question. The actor added saying that if the subject was good he would agree to do a film. He also said that for him films are films and he had also worked with Fawad Khan in 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. 

In addition to this, he said that he knows a lot of Pakistani artists including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Atif Aslam so it was not a big deal for him. Lastly, he mentioned that if anyone is not on good terms with our country then his priority will always be our country during the promotions of the movie 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' which will hit the theatres on March 8, 2023.
