Summers are almost here in the country and a long summer gateaway is a must to have a relaxing vacation away from hot and sweaty places. India being a country with varied weather and geographical condition, provides an ample opportunity for travellers not only to move places in the winters but in all the four seasons of the Indian landmass. Below are the few destinations within the country you must visit in the following summers.

Shimla- British's favorite summer capital, Shimla also known as the 'Queen of Hills', situated in Himachal Pradesh is one of the worthiest places to escape the Indian Summers. Lush green mountains and ultra tall Himalayan ranges gives a sigh of satisfaction to it's travellers. Filed with fun retreats at every corner, shimla is full of fun, therapy and rich English history.

Kashmir- The place referred as equal to heaven is no less than it's term. Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Srinagar of the Kashmir Valley gives ample amount of view and relaxation to the summertime tourists. Snow caped mountains, lakes, lush mountain greenary, vibrant pasture lands and Gulmarg's famous gandola ride are well deserved trials if you never visited this northern part of the country.

Shillong- This North Eastern region of Meghalaya is also known as the 'Scotland of East'. A charming place of cold and winter chills remain calm and composed most of its season. Boating at the famous Umiam Lake, visiting the heavenly 'Seven Sisters water fall' at the khasi valley, Elephant falls, trekking to the unreal spot of Living Root Bridge and visiting the cleanest village of India 'Mawlynnong', are some of the activities to experience once in a lifetime while you are in Meghalaya.

Lonavala- One of the most visited places in the summers is undoubtedly Maharashtra's Lonavala, specially by the Mumbai travel dwellers. A place with plush green landscapes, offers myriad of chores to get indulge in. It is famous for its historical landmarls such as Korigad Fort, Karla Caves, Bhaja Caves . Lonavala also offers a fantastic escapism for wildlife enthuasiasts through it's Rajmachi wildlife Sanctuary.

Coorg- Coorg situated in the Southern part of the country is another place to run away from the waving summers. A hillstation in the state of Karnataka provides immaculate sights of valleys and waterfalls. 'Iruppu' and 'Unchalli falls' are the best places to visit in the scorching July. Religious places such as 'Omkareshwar Temple' and 'Igguthappa Temple' are some of the other tourists attractions for the travellers.
