Senior Vice President of Films & Events at Saregama India Ltd. Siddharth Anand Kumar expressed his enthusiasm for the rebirth of Punjabi cinema during an interview about the movie. He emphasised the box office success of "Carry On Jatta 3" and the trend in the entertainment business towards well-written tales, relatable characters, and modern topics.
Kumar said he loved Shinda for his role in "Honsla Rakh," emphasising how well it fit the storyline of the movie. He also shared his enthusiasm for working with the gifted storyteller Amarpreet GS Chhabra, who can produce both emotional storylines and massive entertainment.
Producer Ravneet Kaur Grewal agreed with her that this movie will create new prospects for the Punjabi industry in terms of scope and subject matter. She hoped that the audience would recognise the value of their efforts to advance the entertainment sector.
The project's director, Amarpreet Chabra, stated that it had been interesting to work on it and emphasised the value of original stories for the development of Punjabi films. Hina Khan appears in the Naresh Kathooria-written movie as her first Punjabi film. With a release date of 2024, it will be filmed in Punjab and Canada.
