Fans Can't Wait To Witness Diljit Dosanjh's Highly Anticipated Punjabi Film 'Sardaar Ji 3'
Diljit Dosanjh, the celebrated Punjabi actor and singer, has had an extraordinary year, marked by successful film releases and international music tours. As he revels in his current achievements, Dosanjh is also gearing up for more exciting ventures. Recently, he took to Instagram to unveil the first poster for his forthcoming Punjabi film, Sardaar Ji 3 and revealed its release date to the joy of his fans.
The motion poster, shared by Dosanjh on his Instagram account, features a shadowy image of the actor against a backdrop of a humorous audio clip. In the clip, Dosanjh corrects someone who mistakenly refers to him as “Sardaar” instead of “Sardaar Ji.” The poster includes the announcement: “SARDAAR JI 3 Releasing Worldwide 27th June 2025.” The film is set to be co-produced by White Hill Studios and Storytime Productions.
Fans have expressed their excitement about the new film, eagerly anticipating the chance to see their favorite star back on the big screen. Comments from fans include sentiments such as, “Diljit is the ultimate sardaarji,” and “Last movie still going on and another movie coming. The Sardaar Ji franchise began in 2015 with its first installment, directed by Rohit Jugraj and featuring Dosanjh alongside Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa. The sequel, Sardaar Ji 2, released in 2016, showcased Dosanjh in three different roles and included Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa in the cast.
The new film will once again see Dosanjh in a prominent role, produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu of White Hill Studios, in collaboration with Story Time Productions. The franchise originally centred around Dosanjh's character, Jaggi, a ghost hunter, and has garnered significant attention and appreciation from audiences.
In his recent projects, Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in Jatt & Juliet 3, directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, alongside Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, and others. Before that, he starred in Imtiaz Ali’s critically acclaimed biographical drama Amar Singh Chamkila.
