Pakistan flood victims: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan gets trolled for requesting netizens to donate money
Pakistan actress Mahira Khan trolled: In a shocking development, the severe monsoon rains have triggered floods and landslides that took more than 300 lives. Approximately 500,000 people are, reportedly, living in relief camps, bringing life in Pakistan to a complete standstill.
Amidst all this, Pakistani celebrity Mahira Khan, and others like Humayun Saeed, and cricketer Shaheen Afridi, made social media appeals to help flood victims by making monetary donations.
The 'Raees' actress made the request and asked for donations, either big or small.
However, her request didn't go well with social media users as they questioned her famous status.

Pakistani users began to troll several other stars who requested netizens to donate money. One user asked, "Only tweeting for what? When will the entertainment industry participate?”, while another remarked, "Mahira if you can help those living in the flood area, you do."
For the unversed, Pakistan is in a dire condition as a result of persistent rain. The nation has never experienced a severe monsoon that was so disrupted. According to statistics, rainfall in the provinces of Balochistan and Sindh is 500 percent over average.
