'Rudrangi' OTT release date and platform; Will it's digital debut save the miserably failed Telegu movie?

'Rudrangi' is a newly released Telegu period drama which was premiered on July 07, 2023. Directed by Ajay Samrat, the movie featured some of the biggest faces from the Southern cinema. With an immaculate storyline and top notch cinematography, the film is set during 1940's around the story of Rudrangi. Even with everything on the claws of it's creation, the Samrat's magnum opus failed miserably at the box office garnering only about Rs. 0.68 crore. 

OTT release date & Platform

After a disappointing release in the theaters, 'Rudrangi' is now officially available on digital platform. The makers have kept everything very confidential and people are quite surprise to see the movie available on the online streaming platform. The movie's digital rights have been acquired by the streamer Amazon Prime Video and hence anyone can now enjoy the beautifully accentuated movie just while sitting at their couches, specially the one's who have missed 'Rudrangi' in the big screens. 

Casts & Crew

Directed by Ajay Samrat, Rudrangi is produced by Rasamayi Balakishan including Bonthala Nageswar Reddy as the editor and Santosh Shanamoni as the director of photography respectively. As mentioned earlier, the movie stars some of the very well known faces from the South Indian industry comprising Jagapathi Babu, Vimala Raman, Divya, Ashish Gandhi, Ganavi Laxman, Mamta Mohandas and Kalakeya playing some pivotal roles into the film. Apart from the many, the music in the movie is composed by Nafal Raja.

About 'Rudrangi'

'Rudrangi' revolves around a storyline of 1940's. It features a man called Bheem Rao Deshmukh played by Jagapathi Babu who is a bizarre man of kind, a ruthless ruler and a womanizer. Bheem Rao is a married man to a woman named 'Meera Bhai' portrayed by Vimala Raman but his urge of getting more and unsatisfied buds makes him marry once more to Jwala Bhai, played by Mamta Mohandas, to fulfill the unfathomed desires. Rudrangi is the woman who comes into the scene very after! Attracted by her beauty, he falls in love with her instantly but what awaits next is utterly surprising which is in-fact the signifying plot of the movie that takes over the fate of the local people.
