Made in Heaven season 2; Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur set to return in Zoya Akhtar show this August

Sequel of one of the most anticipated Indian television series 'Made in Heaven' is all set to hit the OTT screens the coming month. The first season of 'Made in Heaven' which was premiered back in 2019 was highly accepted and loved by all the societal-family-drama goers. With an unique storyline and a stellar casts, the show grabbed right amount of attention among the masses by hitting the perfect spots of the Indian society. Earlier this month, Zoya Akhtar who is also one of the creators of the show has announced bringing the sequel soon and now as per the latest update, even the date of it's season 2 premiere has been fixed.

The first poster of 'Made in Heaven'

The lead actress, Sobhita Dhulipala has taken over her Instagram to share the magnificent poster of the season 2 two which featured the original casts of the previous season. While making the post to social media, Sobhita wrote, "making it official, finally! Team made in Heaven is ready to enter the shaadi business again". In the shared poster, all the actors can be seen elegantly facing the camera while looking their absolute best. The royal bronze-green backdrop and the huge chandelier gives a feeling of season 2 to turn more dramatic, challenging and full of luxury as shown in season 1.

About 'Made in Heaven 2'  

Directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Nitya Mehra, Neeraj Ghaywan, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti the show will feature it's old faces such as Sobhita Dhuliapla, Arjun Mathur, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Jim Sarbh, Shivani Raghuvanshi and Vijay Raaz reprising their original roles. Meanwhile, the new season will also bring in some new faces to the screen which includes Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar. Produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby, grabbing all the curiosity and eagerness of the masses the show is slatted to release on Amazon Prime Video on August 10, 2023.

Fan's Reaction

Fan's were quite excited about the sequel ever since it's first season was ended with an impactful climax. Now, since the official announcement was made, they could not wait but pour their heart out with full of excitement. One of the user made a cracking sarcasm and wrote, "two heartbreaks, 1 degree and 1 pandemic later....." can't deny the facts though! While another screamed in joy "They are cominggggggggggg" with a heart and a crying emoji. "I can die in peace", the third user commented. The reaction received by the fans is quite a proof that the 'Made in Heaven' diggers are all set to binge watch the season of their most awaited series.
