'Kabzaa' movie review

The movie is set in the time of the pre-independence period and revolves around the life of Arkeshwara who is played by Upendra who is the son of a freedom fighter. However, he turns out to be rowdy and then becomes a mafia don and then he grows his huge empire.

Now, the question here is why the son of a freedom fighter transformed himself into an underworld in the main portion of the movie. This part of the story keeps the viewers glued to their screens till the end.

Moving on, Arkeshwara is a man with a mission to end British rule in India but chooses a path which no one dared to choose. Then, the director has given more importance to the making and being able to manage the 1940s era by building huge sets, and costumes so that it looks realistic on screen. The movie ‘Kabzaa’ gives more importance to Arkeshwara’s character.

In addition to this, Upendra has played his character excellently. Then, Sudeep has a special cameo as Bhargav Bakshi which manages to make a difference with his character. Shriya Saran is playing the role of Madhumati which was played by her gracefully. Moreover, Shivrajkumar’s entry in the climax brings another twist to the tale and is the main element in the film.

Lastly, there are many one-liners and powerful dialogues. The movie Kabzaa will hit the theatres on March 17, 2023, in five languages in Telugu, Hindi Malayalam and others.
