Heartstopper Season 2; The new season of LGBTQ+ series will bring in blooming romance between Charlie and Nick
Netflix's one of the most beloved coming of age new series 'Heartstopper' is coming back with it's second season and the excitement is holding no back among the fans. The upcoming sequel will bring more romance and joy into the screens after a whole year of it's release. Ever since the news had spread about it's new season, fans have already started counting the days until the release.
Magnificent 'Heartstopper'
'Heartstopper' is a 2022 romantic teen-drama composed and directed by Adiescar Chase and Euros Lyn respectively. The first season gained immense popularity garnering a 100% rating on Rotten tomatoes and 8.6/10 on IMDb boasting as one of the best show's on the streaming platform Netflix. The show has exclusively presented a LGBTQ themed series in the most soothing way possible. The comforting show revolved around the blossoming romance between two high-school boys, Charlie and Nick.
The season 2 storyline
Based on the graphic novel series by Alice Oseman under the same name, the new season of the teen-drama will delve deeper into their blossoming relationship filled new challenges and conflicts never imagined. Season 1 was ended with both of them accepting each other as lovers and now the aftermath comes. Season 2 will start off from a school trip to Paris and mainly revolve around Charlie who is an anxious teen and out to everybody, often gets bullied alongside Nick who is a popular Rugby boy of the school. The show will also feature the possible romance Tao and Elle as well as new conflicts between established couple Tara and Darcy.
Casts and Crew
As previous season, Joe Locke (Charlie Spring), and Kit Connor (Nick Nelson) will lead Heartstopper season two. Along-with the show leads, other characters will reprise their roles such as Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Tobie Donovan as Isaac Henderson, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, William Gao as Tao Xu, Sebastian Croft as Ben Hope, Cormac Hyde-Corrin as Harry Greene, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, Olivia Colman as Nick's mother - Sarah and Rhea Norwood as Imogen Heaney. Among all those characters, the show will also bring in numerous other faces on the screen. With a whole new storyline and a gripping plot, the sequel of super loved television series has slatted to premiere on August 3, 2023.
