The US oil market has hit the lowest price for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic and netizens have found a way to flood the internet with funny crude oil memes.
It is said that the sellers are actually paying the buyers to get the oil stocks off their hand as the economy has come to a standstill due the pandemic. As there is no one to buy the oil, American energy companies are facing a shortage of storage facility and therefore are selling off the stocks at a lower price.
