‘Oil is not well’: Twitter Floods With Memes As Crude Oil Prices Crash Below Zero

Considering the covid 19 pandemic, the world has stopped for a while as it is not just a health issue for now, but is also affecting the economy of the world with major businesses taking a halt. The US oil market has hit the lowest price for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic and netizens have found a way to flood the internet with funny crude oil memes.

It is said that the sellers are actually paying the buyers to get the oil stocks off their hand as the economy has come to a standstill due the pandemic. As there is no one to buy the oil, American energy companies are facing a shortage of storage facility and therefore are selling off the stocks at a lower price.

The situation may change once the pandemic ends, but for Twitterati, this meant just one thing - memes:

On the other hand, we hope that you are doing fine and staying inside your homes. The pandemic has taken a toll on all of our lives but staying home is the only option we have to stay safe.
