'My character is a salute to all real-life heroes', says Akshay Oberoi

Akshay Oberoi news: Actor Akshay Oberoi will be seen sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the action-packed movie 'Fighter'. He recently stated that his character in the movie is a tribute to real-life heroes.

The actor will be seen playing the role of one who is helping to serve the nation. Further, he mentioned that his role is paying homage to all the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Then he stated that being an actor it is their moral responsibility to give their hundred per cent to whichever character one is playing.

In addition to this, he said that as actors, they can only imitate their actions and courage but in reality, some individuals have faced all these situations. Akshay Oberoi then thanked the director Sidharth Anand and Mamta Anand for allowing him to play a part in the film. However, the actor also took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture which showed him along with director Sidharth Anand and co-star Karan Singh Grover.

For the unversed, the movie 'Fighter' will feature Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as Air Force pilots which is said to go on floors on January 25, 2024. The movie is said to be shot all across the globe and will pay tribute to all the sacrifices made by the armed forces.
