The film was postponed several times due to the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic. However, the makers came up with a new theatrical release, and the film hit the screens on May 6, 2022.
‘Mere Desh ki Dharti’ revolves around the journey of two friends ‘Ajay’ and ‘Sameer’. After they finished their engineering, they both face a lot of rejections while trying to get jobs in the city. Failing to get any joy, they both decided to become a farmer and start farming.
