Mar Gaye Oye Loko: Film Gets 'Superhit' Tag From Cinema Lovers In Pakistan

Gippy Grewal’s latest Punjabi film ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’ is getting amazing response from the cinema lovers in Pakistan.

Released on 31st August 2018, ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’ has earned over Rs 9 crore so far since its release.

According to the reports, Gippy Grewal’s film has opened up bigger than the two other Bollywood releases ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ featuring Dharmendra, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol and ‘Stree’ featuring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.

Besides in India, cinema lovers in Pakistan are praising this move with some calling it as ‘the dawn of new Punjabi cinema.’

The comedy movie also stars Sapna Pabbi, Binnu Dhillon and Jaswinder Bhalla among others in important roles.

Binnu Dhillon plays the central character of Gill Bhai in the movie ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’.

On the other hand, popular comedian Jaswinder Bhalla has brought something new on the table. This time he has played on the screen the character of Karamraj.

‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’ has opened up huge in Indian market, putting it at No.8 in terms of all-time Punjabi openers in India. Grewal’s previous blockbuster ‘Carry On Jatta 2’, which released earlier this year, is the biggest hit in the history of Punjabi cinema.
