KGF actor Yash to play opposite Ranbir Kapoor in period drama: ‘Ramayana’
Yash, the KGF star is all set to bring back the much-needed masala in Nitesh Tiwari’s epic period drama, Ramayana playing against the Kapoor son, Ranbir Kapoor.

Naveen Kumar Gowda renowned by his stage name Yash is a famous name from Kannada Film Industry. The talented actor breakthrough the ‘All-India’ households from Prashanth Neel’s action epic masterpiece KGF – chapter 1, and eventually became the highest-grossing Kannada film ever. The blockbuster hit KGF made him able to win Filmfare – best actor male award for the year and gave the actor worldwide recognition for the same. The famous KGF boy is yet again all set to serve us with a more dense role by playing the character of ‘Ravana’ in the upcoming Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana.’

After the huge success of KGF, people have awaited eagerly to see the actor’s new projects in the industry. The recent update on the upcoming megaproject Ramayana has created a rapid adrenaline rush among the star’s fandom. According to the reports, Yash will be playing opposite Mr. Kapoor who is playing the role of ‘Rama.’ Meanwhile, it was Hrithik Roshan, who was chosen for the role but he eventually dismissed the offer hence giving a way for the movie makers to alternate the role with another magnum face of Yash.
Indian mythology is the most influential part of Indian Cinema. The movies attached to history’s rich strings make it weaker for Indians to ignore it. If the reports are true, ‘Ramayana’ would be one of history’s most epic collaborations ever.
