There are many people who are not familiar with C Sankaran Nair, however, all of us are quite well aware of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that took place on 13 April, 1919 in Amritsar, Punjab.

It is one of the deadliest massacres in the history which was led by General O’dyer and marks one of the most important events leading to the freedom struggle of India. C Sankaran is the man who took the matter to the courtroom to reveal all the truth about this incident. The brave man fought with the whole British Raj in the courtroom, single handedly.

Karan Johar's ‘The untold story of C Sankaran Nair’ will show the life of this revolutionary freedom fighter. The films is inspired by the book 'The Case That Shook The Empire’ which is written by Raghu Palat, the great-grandson of C Sankaran Nair.
This story is one of the most important part of our history to be brought under the light in the present era.
