Joy Mukherjee's son Sujoy wants to remake 'Ek Musafir Ek Hasina'; Know reasons
Sujoy Mukherjee news: Actor and director Sujoy Mukherjee is the son of the legendary actor Joy Mukherjee who was known as the heartthrob of the 1960s and 1970s. Sujoy has also received Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2019 for his short film 'Ab Mujhe Udnaa Hai' which received much appreciation from the audience as well.

Recently in an interview, Sujoy revealed that he wants to remake 'Ek Musafir Ek Hasina' to revive his father's legacy as he wants to bring their banner Pleasure Mukherjee Productions back.
Further, he also said that he wants to make films that depict realistic characters inspired by real-life that could motivate and connect with the audience. He said that it could be possible only through a powerful storyline where a director's voice is glorified through the story.
However, he believes that imagination is essential, keeping the entertainment factor in mind. Later, he mentioned that he was lucky that his short film performed well and 000000000000000000000000000000 he was looking forward to making a feature film soon.
In addition to this Sujoy said that becoming a director does not mean he was quitting acting. For the unversed, he was also a part of films like 'Mehboob Mere Mehboob', 'Hum Hain Kamaal Ke' and 'Pyaar Pyaar'.

Then he mentioned that he is not someone who limits himself from trying something new. Director Sujoy Mukherjee is someone who dares to try challenging and encouraging roles to surprise his audience.
