Jasbir Jassi agrees with Ranjit Bawa's statement on wrong depiction of Punjab in Bollywood
Days after Punjabi singer and actor Ranjit Bawa slammed Janhvi Kapoor's 'Goodluck Jerry' for wrong depiction of Punjab in Bollywood, singer Jasbir Jassi also agreed with his statement.
Taking to Twitter, Ranjit Bawa slammed Janhvi Kapoor-starrer for wrongly depicting Punjab in the film, and questioned if Bollywood will continue doing so.

Agreeing to the same, Jasbir Jassi replied to his tweet: "Bollywood Hamesha ton punjab nu fokka te vichaarheen dikhaunda aaya kyunki saadian sarkaran di koi culture policy nai haigii, well said @BawaRanjit"

Notably. Janhvi Kapoor's Goodluck Jerry is a black comedy crime film directed by Siddharth Sen and written by Pankaj Matta. The film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain .
It is pertinent to mention that the film is a remake of the 2018 Tamil film 'Kolamaavu Kokila'. The film premiered on July 29, 2022, on Disney Plus Hotstar and has been receiving mixed responses for the same.
