Money Heist, also known as La Casa de Papel, had an amazing response from across the world on Netflix. The five seasons kept everybody connected.
Meanwhile, the Money Heist universe has started to expand with the Korean version of the drama now streaming on Netflix. As per the title, the audience was keen to know what Money Heist Korea is about and what it has in common with the original show.

Several people thought that it could be an entirely new story with new characters. The show is set in the same universe. Well, Money Heist Korea is actually a remake of the original one but with a Korean twist.
It follows the same basic plot as the five-season original show in which a group of criminals decides to rob one of the biggest financial institutions in their country.

Notably, the characters are the same in versions of The Professor, Berlin, Tokyo, Nairobi, and so on. However, there are some key differences. For example, Berlin (played by Pedro Alonso), in the original Money Heist, was terminally ill and The Professor's (Alvaro Morte) secret brother. In Money Heist Korea, the character of Berlin (Park Hae-soo) escaped a forced labour camp in North Korea.
