'The Nun 2' exudes a whopping Box Office Collection in 10 days of it's release!

One of the most awaited movies from the conjuring realm, 'The Nun II' has returned among the horror fanatics on September 7, 2023. Ever since then people have delved themselves into the horror sequel that has made it's comeback after a long gap of global pandemic. Country like India specially, a large mass of people are inclined towards the nerve wrecking genre. After completing 11 days at the theatres, the movie has been able to stand tough alongside 'Jawan' and accumulated Rs.30 crores at the Indian box office. 

Meanwhile, The Nun II is a Michael Chaves movie. Written by Akela Cooper and distributed under Warner Bros., Warner Bros. Pictures, it stars Tarissa Fargima and Bonnie Aarons in the leading roles.

Global Box Office Collection 

Talking about it's global phase, 'The NUN II' has exuded it's horror supremacy and maintained it's position as the Top movie to rank in domestic charts for two long weekends and been able to cross $100 million and $150 million overseas respectively. Speaking of it's specific numbers, the movie has made $158 million worldwide in just 10 days of it's release. The horror sequel is running in 72 different international markets and it's top performing countries include, Mexico - $9.3 million, Brazil - $4.4 million, Indonesia - $4.4 million, Italy - $3.2 and France - $3.1.

The NUN legacy!

However there are still few countries where the movie is yet to release such as Germany on September 21 and Austria on September 22, followed by Korea on September 2 and finally Japan on October 13. To look at the box office collection, the movie is walking hand in hand with the other Conjuring multiverse movies but 'The Nun'(2018). The first installment by director Corin Hardy has able to garner $365 million. 

Michael Chaves who has previously directed the horror masterpieces such as 'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It' and 2019’s 'The Curse of La Llorona', both of which have earned more than $200 million, will 'The Nun II' be able to make it's place among the horror goers! Time will tell that indeed. However, in India it is expected to collect around Rs.40 crore by the end of it's theatrical window.
